Answer To Prayers

Through my prayers I was able to go to Medjugorje.

I had been praying for a while to be able to make a pilgrimage here in Canada as we have a beautiful shrine to Saint Anne, Our Lady's mother.

I kept trying to save enough money to go on a pilgrimage but something always happened that I had to use the money for something more important for instance a car repair, replacing household items etc.

One day at Holy Hour I asked the Lord to help me save enough money to go. I also added, I would love to go to Medjugorje, but I know that it is impossible because it is too expensive. How foolish, 'Nothing is impossible with God'

About one month later I received a small inheritance making it possible for me to go, and amazingly I also had just about enough money to take my sister too.

Now I had to make arrangements. I didn't know anyone that had been to Medjugorje to ask about the weather, the currency used etc. Some people were saying that there is still unrest there. I needed to find out. I found a Medjugorje Website and left a message on their forum. Marjie was very kind and answered me, she had been there before and was more than willing to fill me in on all my questions.

It is close on two years now since Marjie and I have been corresponding through the internet. She introduced me to 'Gospa Oratorio' and Phil's witness 'A Walk in the Dark'. It is a wonderful testimony and cd with inspired music. I have copied many cd's and printed Phil's witness and distributed them to many people. They all love it. It is a great way to evangelise.

It is very hard to describe what you come away with when you visit Medjugorje. I saw the miracle of the sun, I cllimbed up Cross mountain and came down in pouring rain that flooded the rocks. You couldn't see where to place your feet on the rocks because the water was ankle deep, but we didn't slip or fall.

It was beautiful to hear the Rosary being piped out from the Church for all to hear and the sound of Croatian music too.

I was ill during my visit, I developed a breathing problem so I didn't manage to climb Apparition Hill. I tried but couldn't, if Our Lady wants me to return I will and I will climb it.

It is so good to have this 'Gospa Oratorio' web site. Spreading the inspired work of Phil and his brother Mike who produced the CD and has sadly recently died, both of them out of love for Our Lady, I am sure it will bring many blessings to everyone.
