From Heroin to Jesus (Part 3)
My life has changed so much, I am happy now, with many new true friends. They like you for who you are not for what you have. I know I still have some way to go before I leave community.
One day I hope to marry and have a family of my own.
I have put my life into Jesus’ hands, and I have decided to become a Catholic. This will be a special day for me and my family and friends.
This is miraculous to me, I am very blessed.
I thank God for the love of all these Christian friends that he has brought into my life, for helping me to find something so special. I never imagined my life could change so much from being a drug addict to knowing the love of JESUS .
I now understand how Nicky feels, I hope when people look at me they can see Jesus shining through me and that I can inspire them to get to know this awesome Jesus.
Billy needed an operation recently and this is his thanks to all that have helped him on his journey
A while ago, while in the Community, I had a serious problem with my leg, deep vein thrombosis. Because it was a problem for so long I didn’t have any incentive to pray.
One day I went to the hospital to see a doctor and he gave me medication, and he advised me to offer up the problem with my leg to the Holy Spirit, as he believes, in his work, it isn’t only medication or surgery that heals.
I have been privileged to meet this wonderful man of faith, and I believe through all your prayers, that this doctor was especially chosen to perform this operation. Thanks to you all, I am now walking without pain. I had the operation without anaesthetic, as the doctor thought I would make a quicker recovery without the after affects of an anaesthetic.
If you want to see how the Holy Spirit works, read the story of the paralytic in the bible. I can’t thank you enough for your prayer, support and Love, so I will offer all my thanks and gratefulness up to the Holy Spirit, and I am sure you will receive many blessings from God
All my love and thanks Billy
